Construction Updates

Contractor has scaled back operations due to winter shutdown.
Utility work continues with relocation of signal power feed, relocation of the town fiber network, and FirstLight splicing cables.

Overhead power relocation efforts have continued, with wires being pulled into place. Eversource should finish in early January.
Comcast relocated their lines to American Excavating; this will enable the construction of Old Rum Trail in this area.
Installation of humus and stone has finished in the Shields Brook Stormwater Treatment Site.
Paving for Franklin Street Extension trenches was completed.

The sewer extension along the north side of Folsom Road is under construction.
Excavation of the Shields Brook Stormwater Treatment Site, including required blasting, is complete.
Installation of humus and stone has begun in the Shields Brook Stormwater Treatment Site.
Madden Road was paved along with completed parts of Folsom Road between Franklin Street and Laconia Avenue.
Deck forms have been removed from the underside of the bridge.

Power work at American Excavating is anticipated to be completed in the first 2 weeks of December.

Full power relocation efforts are expected to be complete by the end of December.
Temporary paving of Franklin Street Extension will take place as soon as possible in December.
The installation of sewer will continue along the North side of Folsom.
Sewer work on Folsom Road will start at the Franklin Street intersection and move east towards Rt 28.
