December 2025 Construction Updates

Recent Activities:

• Overhead power relocation efforts have continued with wires being pulled into place. Electrical line installation will continue until it is completed.

• The sewer extension along the north side of Folsom Road is under construction.

• Excavation of the Shields Brook Stormwater Treatment Site, including required blasting, is complete.

• Installation of humus and stone has begun in the Shields Brook Stormwater Treatment Site.

• Madden Road was paved along with completed parts of Folsom Road between Franklin Street and Laconia Avenue.

• Deck forms have been removed from the underside of the bridge.

Upcoming Activities:

• Power work at American Excavating is anticipated to be completed in the first 2 weeks of December.

• Full power relocation efforts are expected to be complete by the end of December.

• Temporary paving of Franklin Street Extension will take place as soon as possible in December.

• The installation of sewer will continue along the North side of Folsom.

• Sewer work on Folsom Road will start at the Franklin Street intersection and move east towards Rt 28.

November 2025 Construction Updates

Recent Activities:

• Overhead power relocation efforts have continued with wires being pulled into place, and will continue until complete.

• Waterlines throughout Phase 1 are being installed and pressure tested.

• Gas line relocation on Folsom Road is complete.

• The cap for the Northwest MSE Wingwall has been installed.

• Form work for the Shields Brook Bridge deck was completed, shear connectors were installed, and deck reinforcing was installed and approved.

• The deck placement for Phase 1 occurred on the 28th of October.

• Sewer work at Franklin Extension intersection has begun.

Upcoming Activities:

• The closure placement, sidewalk and median curb are anticipated early November.

• Power relocation efforts are anticipated to be complete by the end of the month.

• Paving of Madden Road and completed parts of Folsom Road will take place in early November.

• The installation of sewer and waterline will continue in areas permitted by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NH DOT).

• Water main installation on North High Street will continue.

• Sewer work on Folsom will start at the Franklin intersection and move east towards Route 28.

October 2025 Construction Updates

Recent Activities:

• Steel girders for Phase 1 were set in the last two weeks of September.

• Overhead power relocation efforts have continued with new poles installed throughout the jobsite. Electrical line installation has begun and will continue until completed.

• Waterlines throughout Phase 1 are installed and being pressure tested.

• Gas line relocation on Folsom Road is ongoing.

• The MSE Wingwall for the Northwest corner of the bridge has been installed.

• Bolt tensioning has been completed

• Both abutments were backfilled to the height of the bridge seats.

• Forming for the deck concrete has commenced and will continue until complete.

Upcoming Activities:

• Work on form installation for the bridge deck will continue until complete.

• Deck studs will be installed next week.

• Rebar installation will commence once forming and studs are complete.

• The installation of sewer and waterline will continue in areas permitted by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NH DOT).

• Water main installation on North High Street will continue.

• Paving of Madden Road and Folsom for Phase 1 between the bridge and carwash is anticipated during the month of October.
