March Construction Updates
Recent Activities:
• Drainage was installed on Old Rum Trail.
• Drilled shafts, post and panels were installed for the southbound on ramp.
• Drilled shafts are being installed for the southbound on ramp as well as post and panels.
• Bridge form work is ongoing in preparations for concrete deck panels.
• Installation of the 60” round concrete pipe and headwall has been completed.
Upcoming Activities:
• Soundwall construction continues along southbound I-93. Towards the end of the month crews will relocate to the northbound wall to finish the remaining wall work.
• Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
• Crews will set bridge deck panels in early April followed by shear studs.
• Signal/Intelligent Transportation Systems conduit is being installed on the new bridge.
• Contractor is actively hauling in select materials to the stockpile.
• Extra work for the Woodmont utility sleeves will take place this month.
• Signal foundations are being constructed for the northbound on/off ramp intersection.

• Soundwall construction on the southbound off ramp has finished.
• Drilled shafts are being installed for the southbound on ramp as well as post and panels.
• Bridge form work is ongoing in preparations for concrete deck panels.
Upcoming Activities:
• Soundwall construction continues through the remainder of the winter on southbound. Wall post and panels are to be erected on southbound.
• Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
• Bridge deck forming will continue.
• Installation of a 60” reinforced concrete pipe and headwall will take place this month.
• Blasting for stormwater best management practices and extra work for Woodmont utility sleeves will take place.
January Construction Updates
Recent Activities:
• Drainage is being installed on Old Rum Trail.
• Soundwall construction on the southbound off ramp has finished.
• Drilled shafts are being installed for the southbound on ramp as well as post and panels.
• Bridge girders have been installed and bolts tightened.
Upcoming Activities:
• Soundwall construction continues through the remainder of the winter on southbound. Wall post and panels are to be erected on southbound.
• Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
• Bridge work has stopped for the month until the weather allows the setting of deck panels.
• Soil and stone work will take place on the southbound on ramp.

Excavation and Blasting for best management practices.
Drainage is being installed on Old Rum Trail.
Soundwall construction has continued along the southbound off-ramp.
Bridge girders have been installed.
Upcoming Activities:
Soundwall construction continues through the remainder of the winter on the southbound side of I-93. Wall post and panels are also to be erected on the southbound side of I-93.
Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
Bridge crews will work on tightening bolts.

Old Rum Trail is currently receiving sand and crushed stone.
Drainage is being installed on Old Rum Trail.
Soundwall construction has continued along the northbound on-ramp.
Drilled shafts are being installed for the soundwall along the southbound on-ramp.
Paved base and binder on the northbound on and off ramps.
Upcoming Activities:
Soundwall construction continues through the remainder of the season on the northbound side of I-93. Wall posts and panels are to be erected in early to mid-December.
Drainage installation on Old Rum Trail will continue.
Girder erection is anticipated for mid-December.
